Mr Edwards said: “This is an exciting time to be joining the company. I really believe in the Smart Solutions business model and feel there is huge potential to extend Midas’ offering both in Wales and over the border to Smart Solutions’ existing customers as well as new ones.
“We have a lot of experience and a core customer base within the waste, recycling and manufacturing sectors as well as training products to match industry requirements so I will be focusing my initial efforts on growing the Midas presence in these areas.”
Nathan Bowles, chief executive of Smart Solutions, said: “We are seeing increasing demand from businesses for training across a range of disciplines from leadership and management techniques and Six Sigma to business improvement techniques, and this presents a real opportunity for Midas.
“Steffan’s sound knowledge of the market is what attracted us to him initially and his experience of working with large organisations to implement training plans in line with Midas’ product offering will undoubtedly bolster our offering.”
Midas’ turnover is forecast to increase by more than 200% in its first year of trading since it was acquired by Smart Solutions
